Three different drivers from three different teams led the three USF2000 test sessions to kick off the two days of Road To Indy action at Road America.
Christian Rasmussen, a Jay Howard Driver Development veteran, led the final Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship test session in the CSU / One Cure – Lucas Oil-sponsored No. 6. The Dane’s lap of 131.011 seconds was the quickest of the bunch.

Fellow sophomore, Jack William Miller, ended the session with the second quickest time. The Carmel, Ind. based second-generation driver, was in the top six in all three sessions.
The late mover in the session was 15-year-old Nolan Siegel (Jay Howard Driver Development), who ended up with the third quickest time.
Early in the session, Gold, who had led the first session, and Miller in the Indy Dental Group / Lumist sponsored No. 41 were quick.
With 30 minutes remaining in the session, Miller had moved to the top of the timing charts, followed by Shields.
At the half-way point of the final test session, the quickest driver was Rasmussen, who had just turned a lap at 131.429 seconds to grab the top spot away from Miller.
The rest of the top ten behind Rasmussen were Miller, Shields, Gold, Michael d’Orlando (Cape Motorsports), Matthew Round-Garrido (Pabst Racing), Wyatt Brichacek (Jay Howard Driver Development), Josh Green (Cape Motorsports) Yuven Sundaramoorthy (Pabst Racing) and Eduardo Barrichello (Pabst Racing).
With 20 minutes left in the test session, there were 14 cars on the track and six cars on the pit lane.
Not long after that point of the session, went quicker, lowering his best lap time to 131.011 seconds.
The first practice of the Road America weekend, a 30-minute session, gets underway at 4:15 pm (CDT)
