Juncos Racing veteran Sting Ray Robb began his ‘home race’ the right way, leading the lone test Indy Pro 2000 before qualifying.

Championship leader Rasmus Lindh had the fourth quickest time, almost a half-second behind his teammate. Lindh’s closest competitor for the championship, Kyle Kirkwood ended the session with the second-fastest lap.

The top six drivers were within a half-second, and the top seven were within one second.

The first open-wheel cars on track at the Portland International Raceway for the 2019 Grand Prix of Portland was the Indy Pro 2000

At the half-way point of the 25-minute session, Kyle Kirkwood had the quickest lap at 66.729 seconds. He was followed by Sting Ray Robb, Rasmus Lindh, Danial Frost, Parker Thompson, Artem Petrov, Nikita Lastochkin, Antonio Serravalle, Jacob Abel, Matthew Round-Garrido, Kory Enders, Antoine Comeau, and Moisés de la Vara.

At just past the half-way point of the session, Robb went to the top of the timing screens.

He held that position until the red and checkered flags came out with two minutes remaining. The red flag was caused by Exclusive Autosport veteran Lastochkin, who made contact in Turn 4.
