For the Indy Lights presented by Cooper Tires’ second 30-minute session, single-car runs were the focus ahead of Freedom 100 qualifying later this afternoon at 1:30 p.m.

Through 12 minutes, five drivers have no-tow laps. Telitz is at 194.249, then Kellett at 193.850, Hamilton Jr. at 193.781, Franzoni at 193.024 and O’Ward at 192.643.

Herta, Urrutia and Norman don’t have a no-tow lap.

Urrutia finally posted one with 12 minutes to go at 191.500 mph. Herta’s no-tow is 194.009, which is second.

The final 11 minutes saw the start of group running. The two Belardi Auto Racing cars of Urrutia and Telitz ran three-wide with Juncos Racing’s Franzoni, with Norman just behind.

O’Ward used a tow to get up to 196.510 for the new top spot.

No changes in the final couple minutes.

O’Ward leads overall while Telitz has the top no-tow speed over Herta, Kellett, Hamilton Jr., Franzoni, O’Ward and Urrutia. Norman doesn’t have a registered no-tow speed.

Another 30 minutes of clean running with no incidents. Qualifying later today sets the grid for the first of three races for the Mazda Road to Indy presented by Cooper Tires that will run on Friday.
